Another must have album from the legendary bluesman JOHN LEE HOOKER. On this LP, John is joined by his cousin Earl Hooker. A blues icon with a formidable slide technique, Earl died shortly after this session. The other key figure on this date was organ player Big Moose Walker. The albums highlights consist of I Wanna Be Your Puppy Baby and Have Mercy on My Soul, as well as a reworking of Boom Boom done here as Bang Bang Bang Bang.
